Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly when you apply to a cohort, donate, or contact us, name, email, country, education, employment status, device & internet access details, and your application essay. We also collect aggregated analytics to improve our website.

How we use information

Application data is used solely to review and select cohort trainees and to communicate with applicants. Donor data is used to process and acknowledge gifts. Partner data is used to evaluate and onboard partnerships. We never sell personal data.

Data sharing

We share data only with: (a) payment processors (Stripe, Paystack) to process donations; (b) email service providers; (c) our Oculus data integration for aggregated impact dashboards. Trainee personal data is never shared with donors, only aggregated impact metrics.

Data retention

Application data is retained for 24 months after the cohort window. Donor records are retained for tax and compliance reporting. You may request deletion of your data at any time.

Your rights

You may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data by emailing the Foundation. We honour data-subject rights under GDPR, CCPA, and other applicable privacy frameworks worldwide (including NDPR and POPIA).

Cookies & analytics

We use essential cookies and privacy-respecting analytics. We do not use cross-site tracking or advertising cookies.

Children

Foundation training is for individuals 16 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.

Updates

We may update this policy as our programs evolve. The current version is always available at this URL.
